Free medicine timer and medication reminder. Set countdown between doses for antibiotics, painkillers, vitamins, and all scheduled medications.
Once daily (24h): set to 86400 seconds. Twice daily (12h): 43200 seconds. Three times daily (8h): 28800 seconds. Four times daily (6h): 21600 seconds. Every 4 hours: 14400 seconds. Use the preset buttons to quickly select your interval.
Antibiotics maintain a therapeutic level in your bloodstream. Irregular dosing creates peaks and troughs — too low between doses allows bacteria to recover resistance. Set the medicine timer to equal intervals and stick to them even if it means waking at night for a dose.
Same clock time is better for once-daily medications (hormones, blood pressure, antidepressants) — it builds habit and keeps levels consistent. For medications requiring specific spacing (every 6–8 hours), work backward from your wake time so doses fall within your waking hours.
If you miss a dose and remember within the first half of the interval: take it immediately and reset the timer. If you're closer to the next dose: skip the missed one and take the next on schedule. Never double-dose. Check your medication leaflet for specific missed dose guidance.
Use separate browser tabs for each medication. Label them with the medication name. This is useful for managing multiple prescriptions with different timing requirements. For complex regimens, a dedicated pill reminder app with notification support is more reliable than a browser timer.
